1/21

Today we did some intense thinking into the story "The life you save may be your own." We also reviewed vocab, reviewed the story and discussed the plot, characters, irony in the story and the theme.

Hw: write three true or false questions on a note card about the stories that we have read.

I learned that pretty much the whole story was ironic.

12/5 - 12/8

Objectives: read Whitman; fill in template; go over written portion of exam
Activities: Whitman poem; independent work
HW: comp exam progress report and draft

I'm writing this again... I need a new system. I worry a little about the amount independence needed at this point in the semester. You have assignments but they are self-directed. It's tempting to skip steps. We'll see how it goes!
